Silver Sober Living was created from personal experience, understanding, and a deep belief in the power of recovery.

As a child, I witnessed a close family member struggle with substance abuse. After multiple attempts at recovery homes, she was finally able to find the help she needed. What stayed with me most was what she shared—that recovery isn’t just about getting help, it’s about finding the right environment, along with the support of people who truly believe in you. That combination gave her hope and changed her life.

Years later, I watched a close family friend continue his own recovery journey. At one point, his family lost hope. But mine didn’t. We understood how isolating it can feel to believe you’re facing everything alone, with no one standing beside you.

Those experiences shaped my purpose.

I opened Silver’s House to create the kind of environment that truly supports recovery—one built on structure, compassion, faith, accountability, and community. A place where women are not judged by their past, but supported in building their future.

I believe everyone deserves more than just a second chance—they deserve another opportunity, again and again, to get it right. As it is written in The Bible, forgiveness is limitless, a reminder that growth and redemption are always possible.
