What is Silver Sober Living (SSL)?

Silver Sober Living (SSL) is a supportive recovery home designed to help women rebuild healthy routines, accountability, structure and lasting sobriety.

Who is a good fit for SSL?

Women 18+ who are committed to maintaining sobriety, participating in a structured living environment and following house guidelines that support long-term recovery. We welcome women from all walks of life, including women coming from the justice system, or personal referrals.

Do I need to be sober before entering?

Yes. Residents must be sober at the time of entry and committed to maintaining sobriety. We are not a treatment center or clinic, however we help provide referrals for detox or inpatient treatment if needed before arrival.

  • Remain sober (Zero-tolerance policy)

  • Attend recovery and house meetings

  • Participate in daily/weekly chores

  • Respect curfew/visitor policy

  • Be present/active in work, school or service

  • Respect self, staff and fellow residents

Are visitors allowed?

Visitation is allowed during approved hours. Visitors must follow house guidelines and be sober. Overnight guest are not permitted.

What are the main house rules?

Do you offer mental health services or therapy?

No. Silver Sober Living (SSL) is not a treatment center. However, we work closely with trusted providers and can help connect residence to licensed counselors, therapists, or psychiatric services.

Can I leave early if I feel ready?

Yes. We encourage residents to work with our team before making any decisions to ensure a safe and healthy transition

Do you accept insurance or offer payment plans?

Silver Sober Living (SSL) is not covered by insurance since its not a treatment center/clinic. However, we do offer flexible payment plans and work with families and outside support organizations when needed.

What kind of support do residents receive?

We provide:

  • Recovery resources and referrals

  • Building life skills

  • Weekly accountability check-ins

  • Sisterhood/Peer support

  • Workshops (cooking class, bible study, Narcan trained, CPR certification)…

How long can I stay at Silver's House?

There is a 90-day minimum commitment, many residents stay for 6-12 months. Length of stay varies based on each resident’s recovery goals, progress, and individual needs. We encourage residents to remain in a structured environment long enough to build stability, accountability, and a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

What happens after I complete 6-12 months?

Residents are encouraged to stay as long as they need to remain sobriety. Recovery does not end after residency. SSL encourages alumni to stay connected, support one another, and remain involved in a positive recovery community.

What is the cost to stay?

$250 Weekly, includes housing, utilities, support services and guest speaker/workshop facilitator.

Do SSL drug test?

Yes. Drug Testing on admission, also randomly and suspicion.
